Now that winter is upon us and we’re all inside a little more than usual, you may be feeling that your home is a bit cramped. If so, you’re not alone; one in four people say they’ve outgrown their home.

As opposed to simply suggesting that you sell your home, this month I’m sharing some information on why and how people decide to renovate their homes. It could be an easy fix, like reconfiguring and existing room or a much bigger project, such as building an accessory dwelling unit (ADU) or adding a second story.
